Sushi Chef Japanese Restaurant & Market is currently seeking SUSHI CHEFS for the day shifts and night shifts. Sushi Chef Japanese Restaurant & Market is a traditional Japanese restaurant that has been serving Miami for over 27 Years.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 year experience for the head sushi chef position and at least 1 year for the assistant sushi chef position and authorized to work in the United States. Must reside in Miami.

Requirements:

Knowledge of fish types used in the business.
Knowledge of sushi types and sushi rolling styles.
Able to be standing for long periods.
Must be able to work weekends.
Must have a professional appearance and attitude.
Responsibilities:

Setup sushi bar and stations.
Fillet fish for the sushi bar and kitchen.
Make sushi bar sauces and dressings.
Monitor food stocks.
Prepare all sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi.
Maintain sushi bar area clean at all times and at the end of shift.
