Description

Ahlers & Ogletree is an international estate auction house located in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA. We are currently seeking to add an Inventory Coordinator to our team. The Inventory Coordinator operates within the Inventory & Operations departments to coordinate the flow of inventory from the pre-auction photography department through auction staging & preview, post-auction pick-up, and into short-term and long-term storage. This role also assists the Production department with unpacking, preparing, and organizing pre-auction inventories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with Production Manager to ensure swift and timely physical movement of items from
Photography into the auction staging area
• Collaborate with Operations staff to ensure efficient movement of Lots and objects through the warehouse and showroom throughout the auction cycle
• Unpack and organize objects under the direction of the Production Manager
• Stock case gallery with auction lots in advance of auction preview, ensuring appropriate tags are placed on each lot and lots are visually organized for customer viewing
• Act in a sales capacity during auction preview to assist customers with their needs
• Manage post-auction inventory release to buyers and shippers
• Manage communication with buyers regarding 3rd party shippers and release paperwork
• Organize inventory post-auction for easy access during short and long-term storage
• Additional situational tasks including polishing silver, etc.
• Maintain a thoroughly clean and presentable staging environment, including cleaning cases, maintaining display materials, and organizing presentation fixtures

REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to prioritize and handle quickly shifting priorities and adapt quickly to changing circumstances with a sense of urgency and professionalism
• Must be hands-on, possess extreme attention to detail, and a maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to meet deadlines and make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
• Proactivity and willingness to assist where needed, even if outside of direct job description
• Required knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
• Customer service experience
• Adaptability to learn new tools and processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Clean background check with no criminal history
• Reliable transportation
• Punctual

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to handle and move large amounts of material, including lifting & carrying up to 50lbs
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping, standing, climbing ladders, and bending
