The Automotive Office Manager processes and generates financial data for all dealership departments to create a clear report of the accurate financial condition of the business. This position is classified as exempt from applicable wage and hour wages. Following is a list of certain minimum required duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, subject to applicable law. This list is not inclusive and may be amended or supplemented as business needs dictate.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hires, trains, and supervises office personnel
• Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures
• Assists in compiling financial data monthly according to dealership guidelines for the financial statement and the manufacturer’s format and time frame.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the bank accounts daily
• Reconciles assets and liabilities on a daily basis
• Ensure that all manufacturer accounts including warrant claims, rebates, and incentives are current and accurate
• Ensures compliance with all government regulations
• Assists accounting personnel to ensure all schedules are reconciled on a timely basis
• Complies with dealership’s accounting standards
• Generates a timely and accurate financial statement monthly

Job Qualifications:

• One to two years of automotive industry experience is a must
• Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
• Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
• Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
• Individuals employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
* Dealer Track experience is a huge plus

Monday through Friday
8 am - 5 pm
$19 - $20 an hour to start
Temporary to permanent position
