Description

The baker and pie maker position is a creative and fast-paced position requiring basic professional baking experience.

Bakers are responsible for making pies, cakes, brownies, cookies, pastries, pot pies, quiche, etc. and have a hand in every stage of the process. The available baking shift is currently Thursday / Friday / Saturday 5:30 am – 2pm.

Candidates are expected to have a knowledge of commercial equipment, knife skills, conversion and measuring skills, and be able to follow established recipes and techniques. NYC Food Handlers’ Certificate is necessary. Being able to work well with others, while also being able to work independently is an important skill in our small kitchen.
