An EN Japanese Brasserie Bartender will demonstrate his/her skills in cultural proficiency and technical expertise.

Role
A Bartender is expected to mix and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to guests, following standard recipes and company policies. An EN Japanese Brasserie Bartender will be warm, hospitable, professional and exacting while providing above and beyond service.

Responsibilities
o Tailor each guest’s bar experiences
o Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items
o Ability to create relevant and creative beverages based on guest requests and company standards.
o Maintains a clean and organized bar area
o Follows all relevant brand standards for service
o Strictly adheres to responsible alcohol service standards
o Upsell guests on food and beverage items
o Must be able to operate POS system

Desired Experiences and Skills
o Minimum of 3+ years experience at a comparable fine cuisine restaurant
o An understanding and appreciation of food and wine is a must
o Knowledge of Japanese spirits preferred
o Experience with procurement and inventory preferred
o Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to function under time constraints and deadline with attention to detail.
o Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make independent judgment decisions.
o Must be guest minded and service oriented
