Bartender – Luxury Hotel (Lennox Miami Beach Hotel) – $14.00 per hour

• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and preparing them efficiently
• Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
• Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
• Greets customers warmly and takes food and beverage order; providing information about products and achieve up-selling.
• Follows recipes directions for mixing beverages.
• The bartender must have has a strong knowledge of food in general and our menu in particular. Their skills must be at the same level as a lead server, as many guests choose to dine at the bar.
• Collects payments and operates cash registers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions; secures your cash bank at the end of each shift
• Follows alcohol training and procedures in preventing guest intoxication and underage consumption.
• Ensures a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar.
• To provide under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manager a prompt and efficient service in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Bar must look tidy at all times during opening time.
• To be responsible for the beverage stock and prevention of wastage.
