POSITION SUMMARY
The Insurance office Assistant provides general administrative support to Home and Auto Specialist. Typical duties include administrative and clerical work which includes policy processing , client interaction, data input, transferring calls to the appropriate party, taking thorough and accurate phone messages, making clear and accurate announcement of calls, filing, scheduling of meetings, drafting memos and letters, etc. Their role is to increase company productivity by relieving executives and administrators of routine tasks as well as present a professional and friendly face to visiting guests and customers.

**MUST BE BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH***

* High school degree or equivalent is required.
* 3-5 years previous experience in a professional office environment
* Soft skills including but not limited to: ability to analyze and resolve problems related to incoming calls and correspondence; active listening skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to complete required tasks within established time frames.
* Proven ability to multi-task over multiple projects and deliver in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to manage own workload independently
* Ability to learn quickly and adjust to change, including the ability to learn new software tools/applications as necessary
* Must have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
