Key Responsibilities
Oversee retail staff and café operations
*Possess an in depth knowledge of Cocoa Cinnamon/Little Waves standards, products, and policies
• Responsible for customer experience and all product quality
• Responsible for cafe’s financial goals and waste management

Specific Duties
• Develop a motivated team committed to excellence in product quality, service, and experience
• Promote teamwork and excellent communication in the café including proper usage of company apps (eg Homebase and Basecamp)
• Perform a comprehensive annual inventory
• Enthusiastically support key marketing initiatives; proactively improve bottom line, control costs, and build operational efficiencies
• Provide regular feedback to all employees and conduct formal review process
• Ensure that all employees are trained and performing to CC/LW standards
• Follow disciplinary protocol outlined in the CC/LW Employee Handbook
• Maintain café equipment and schedule for regular maintenances
Keep front and back of house organized and clean at all times

Requirements
• Must be kind, authentic, and open-minded
• Previous management experience preferred
Customer service experience preferred
Specialty café/roastery experience a plus!
Night and Weekend availability required
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long period of time
Organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with a majority woman-led and femme presenting team
• Approachable, mindful, and positive while promoting accountability and personal initiative
• Management and problem solving skills
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in any given situation
Encourage a safe space for feedback between baristas, and from barista to manager, within the café
Promote healthy living and work/life balance in yourself and in your team
Inspire and encourage the staff to soak up every opportunity for excellence while a part of the team
