Description

We are seeking a passionate, hands-on individual to oversee kitchen operations and lead our strong BOH team. We serve a seasonal New America menu accompanied by a strong cocktail program. We strive to maintain our branding while evolving with the constant changes in the current pandemic climate. This position will oversee all aspects of kitchen operation including creative freedom with the menu for upcoming seasonal changes and can be adjusted to part time or full time employment. We currently have 12 tables outside and a solid take out service. The ideal candidate is an independent, experienced culinary professional with extensive experience in food costing, knowledge of seasonal produce and capable of leading a team of 4-5. You MUST have strong sanitation and food safety skills.

Some responsibilities include:
– 1-2 line shifts per week
-creating new menu items for seasonal changes/service changes
– maximizing efficiency with food and labor costs as needs change with pandemic
– collaborating with owner to maintain current branding
– managing kitchen staff with DIGNITY AND RESPECT while still running an extremely efficient operation.
