City Furniture is looking for full-time Receiving Associates to unload products and verify orders to confirm accuracy of product received. Receiving Associates must be able to lift 75+ pounds and unload product utilizing proper equipment and material-handling techniques to minimize damages.

Job Requirements
· Must be at least 18 years old

· Must pass pre-employment drug test and physical ability test

· Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

· Ability to lift 75+ pounds

· Good customer service/communication skills

· Must be able to train and work out of our Tamarac Distribution Center while our Miami Gardens Distribution Center opens.

A Typical Day:
Unload product utilizing proper equipment and material-handling techniques to minimize damages
Attaches labels to product; verifies SKU’s and product information to ensure bar code accuracy and reduce inventory variances; prints additional labels if necessary
Verifies purchase orders to confirm accuracy of product received
Examines product for damages; notifies Supervisors of damaged product; documents reasons for damages; returns product to appropriate location in the warehouse for repairs if necessary
Clean trailers and containers; maintains cleanliness/organization of work area and warehouse
Completes reports and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
Works well with associates from other departments
Assists with on-the-job training for new associates
Completes other duties as assigned
