Daily Activities:

Our external visual presentation is equally as important as the customer service we provide. As the Community Handyman, you will assist us in maintaining our visual standards by performing the below tasks. This is a part-time position working 20 – 25 hours weekly Monday to Friday (no weekends) $15/hour. A background check will be conducted.

Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to do general labor work
Put furniture together, relocate furniture as needed, and installations
Complete all work orders as assigned by exhibiting ability to diagnose and repair a variety of basic maintenance issues to include but not limited to:
Light electrical and plumbing and HVAC repairs
Appliance repairs and maintenance
Preventative maintenance and repair of building interior and exterior system.
Execution of all office Make-Ready requests. Responsible for drywall repair and painting of vacant offices. Maintain visual standards and knowledge of commercial painting techniques and expectations.
Responsible for understanding and following the WORKSUITES key policies
Travels to various locations throughout Houston to meet needs
Required Skills:

A High School diploma or GED
One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
The ability to operate various types of tools and equipment safely and lift various items up to 50 lbs.
Detail focused.
