We are currently seeking Contract Proposal Specialists to work in Chicago through remote working station. Position duties include writing, preparation, research, and coordination of government (local and state) contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly downloads bids/contracts utilizing the Internet and other means available to develop new business.
• Prepares solicitation documents.
• Receives, records, and reviews offers/modifications.
• Performs cost/price analysis; develop a negotiation plan and strategy for each assigned contract
• Composes contractual agreements, such as letters of intent, confidential disclosure, consultancy, services,
products, etc.; writing includes scope of work and terms and conditions.
• Provides contract management support for the Government and Professional Services and operation groups.
• Processes/maintains contractor invoices and resolves payment problems.
• Performs closeout actions and prepares official files for staging.
• Establishes and maintains constructive and effective relationships with contract/bid personnel, including the
resolution of any problems, preferably preserving positive associations with contractors. Interpret contract
terms to actual work performance.

Education/skills:

• College degree
• Demonstrated ability to prepare complex proposals against tight deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver with exceptional accuracy
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills needed along with creative problem-
solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in Federal and GSA procurement regulations is a plus
• Experience in the placement/administration for simplified acquisitions and formal contracts is a plus

Work Location:

• Fully Remote (meetings twice a month in our office location, Chicago West Loop)
