An essential manufacturing plant is seeking a customer service representative to join our staff.
This position answers to the Customer Service Manager.
The primary responsibilities are:
Receive and confirm customer purchase orders
Quote the order
Ensure with the customer that the production schedule will meet the customer’s needs
Input the order within 24 hours into system, and notify applicable personnel
Communicate with planning, inventory, procurement, and production to ensure fulfillment
Update the order notes as necessary in system
Provide follow up with production and customer until the order is shipped
Process any change orders and apply any changes in cost.
Coordinate shipping of product
Close the sale orders on a weekly basis.
Follow up with customer for payment
Other duties as they apply

Must have a HS Diploma or GED (College Graduate preferred)
1 Year of customer service in a manufacturing environment
