Southwest Key Programs is a private, nonprofit organization committed to keeping kids out of institutions and home with their families by reuniting immigrant children under 18 who enter the United States without a parent or guardian. Through an exceptionally competent and diverse staff, the children in our care receive educational, counseling, legal, and case-management services in a nurturing, homelike environment while awaiting the resolution of their legal case. We are expanding our team of individuals who want to work with children and youth, and work in a fun, family environment! Special Note about the Youth Care Worker role: We currently have multiple openings for Youth Care Workers (YCW) . YCW are critical to shelter operations, assisting children with their basic needs, like making sure their teeth are brushed, ensuring all children are bathed, helping with homework, supervising playtime, etc. We have availability on all three shifts/7 days a week. YCW need 1 year of experience working with children, which includes internship and volunteer experience.
