Black Forest Brooklyn is a German Beergarden and Coffeehouse. Teamwork is everything to us. Everyone is cross-trained to understand best what your teammates are doing. We believe this way we will have the happiest and most successful team. Our restaurants have large communal tables, outdoor seating, 16 German beers on tap and a La Marzocco espresso machine.

We have two locations: One at 733 Fulton Street and one at 181 Smith Street Brooklyn, NY. You will be working in mainly one location and help out in the other if need be. Tips are shared.

We are looking to hire experienced friendly staff for the following positions:

Barista/Bartender
We are looking for a Barista/Bartender who has their latte art down on our beloved La Marzocco and can also work as a Bartender. Make craft cocktails and pour draft beer. Keep the bar organized, clean and restocked at all times, includes moving kegs.

Server
Our service will slowly reopen, and we have a new no-contact ordering system in place, so we are looking for Servers, that are very good at talking to guests to teach them the new system and are also happy to run food and buss tables.

We are looking for someone who is:

– Very self-driven
– Can arrive to work in a great mood, on time every day
– Can use daily checklists
– Has experience with high volume service in NYC
– Has experience anticipating guests’ needs before they arise
– Can communicate effectively in English
– Is legal to work in the U.S.

Prior experience with table service is STRONGLY preferred for candidates of both positions.
