Blue Fish Sushi Thai is seeking a Thai cook (experience preferred) to join our amazing team. Business is growing since reopening from the pandemic and our current Thai chef needs assistance on a full time basis, right NOW!

Kitchen/Wok experience helpful. We will train you on our Thai dishes in accordance with portioning, recipe, and service guidelines. You will maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment. You will assist our team with inventory management and purchasing for the kitchen.

Currently, all staff are required to wear face masks while on site and gloves during prep/service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred but not necessary.
• Must be very reliable and have a positive attitude.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and recognize the importance of each team member’s role in the guest dining experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards on food storage and handling techniques helpful.
• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry helpful.
• Must possess a Florida state food handlers certificate. (or you can apply for and take the test online)
• Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Culinary schooling preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required.
• You are passionate about our guest experience and achieving no less than 5 star reviews.
• You must speak (read/write) English – Japanese, Thai, French, and Spanish are a plus.
