The Position:

We are looking for a Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in assistanting our customers both in person, over the phone and via email with quoting, process orders and providing technical assitance when needed. Expereince and/or knowledge in any of the following areas is a plus:
Marine Hose, Sheet Rubber and/or Gasket Products, Metal Hose, Pipe, Valves, Fittings, Expansion Joints, Hydraulic Hose Assemblies, etc.

Responsibilities:

Understand customer needs and requirements
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
Answer incoming calls from our customers providing pricing, product specifications, lead times, etc
Handle walk-in customers
Service existing accounts
Process customer quotes and orders
Communicate via email and telephone with customers and vendors
Work together with other staff members on various projects
Create documents via Word, Excel and/or Adobe pdf Editor

Skills:

Strong phone presence
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Must be a team player

Requirements:

Experience in Marine and/or Industrial Sales a plus but not required
A professional appearance
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
Must be a team player
Computer Savvy
Knowledge in Microsoft products
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
