Innovative Marketing & Design is in search of a detail oriented and responsive Inside Sales & Client Development Assistant. The ideal candidate is well spoken, confident, and great with customers. You should enjoy developing relationships with customers and gain a sense of satisfaction from providing them with great creative advice, bringing together the product and message that will get them noticed using promotional products. The promotional products industry is a cross between advertising/promotions and product sales. You will be working with a wide range of clients, from small town shops to Fortune 100 companies, developing everything from the perfect trade show giveaway to a company store featuring a customized catalog of merchandise for the customer’s offices around the world.

The Inside Sales & Client Development Assistant will be responsible to efficiently and accurately assist the sales lead to manage a sales pipeline and exceed designated sales goals with the assistance of a Purchasing Production Coordinator and subsidiary staffers. An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of successful and documented experience managing client projects and growing accounts. Individual is a team player, highly organized, and detail-oriented with excellent phone and interpersonal sales skills. A strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment is key to success. Ideal candidate will quickly and accurately qualify and prioritize all new and existing sales opportunities. This position requires both the ability to assist to cultivate new business opportunities and build relationships for extensive repeat business.

Job Description:
Title: Inside Sales & Client Development Assistant

Important Duties & Responsibilities:
o Taking part in all discussions of sales, marketing, and strategy
o Creating and executing the company weekly email campaign
o Creating and executing the company weekly client’s email campaigns
o Source products for company stores
o Price product for company stores
o Prepare website images for company stores
o Load products with images onto company stores
o Maintain database support for company stores
o Maintain and execute ongoing pro-active client retention e-marketing campaign through a monthly information update
o Timely and effective communication with potential leads & repeat clients to quote sales opportunities
o Product sourcing for client needs through online research and vendor phone calls
o Prepare digital presentations for client sales opportunities
o Call clients post presentation cycle to obtain feedback
o Create quotes for clients
o Call clients post quote cycle to obtain feedback
o Provide clients with quotes, samples, product and marketing ideas to aid in closing sales opportunities
o Prepare and review orders and artwork in a highly responsive and professional manner for the client
o Regular interaction with clients via inbound phone calls and inbound emails
o Problem-solve to find acceptable resolutions to order issues with both clients and production team
o Learn and interact with social media, artwork, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
o Active participation in weekly team meetings and training sessions
o Complete special projects, reporting, and responsibilities assigned by the lead
o Trade show client outreach and public relations event participation
o Hands on stuffing, folding, and kitting marketing campaign mailers and boxes
o Additional tasks as needed

Skills and Experience Requested; Will Train On The Job As Needed:
o Bachelor’s degree is a plus
o A minimum of 2+ years Account Management/Sales experience in the promotional products industry
o 2 or more years related experience in an office environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
o Understanding of B2B account management
o Previous promotional product (SAGE/ASI/PPAI) industry experience is a plus
o Detail-oriented and highly organized
o Excellent Comprehension skills, Takes Notes, Can Follow Procedures, Self-Think When Needed
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Uses good judgment and analytical skills
o Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize deadline driven tasks
o Competitive and self-motivated to exceed sales goals and build client relationships
o Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently
o Must have a car, valid driver’s license and insurance
o Some national and international travel may be required for trade shows
o Previous CRM experience preferred
o Computer literacy is a MUST: Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator

Salary:
Salary range is $35,000-$41,500, based on experience.
