Matchaful is looking for an experienced kitchen manager to lead all back-of-house prep and keep our kitchen up to health code standards at all times.

We are a female-founded, organic, plant-based matcha company. We are looking for someone who is passionate about health and wellness and wants to grow with our small team. You will be creating fresh concentrates, plant-based milks, and small food items that require special preparation, care, and attention. Working mostly solo, you will take ownership of the space and take pride in the cleanliness and efficiency of the café work flow.

Experience requirements:
Must have NYC Food Protection Certificate
1+ years commercial kitchen experience
Experience with plant-based food prep
Highly organized, with experience in ordering and inventory management
Experience upholding NYC health code and maintaining an ‘A’ grade for a café/restaurant
Experience operating soft serve ice cream machine is a bonus
Must be willing to work solo, must be a self-starter
Must come to work with a professional attitude
Attention to detail required
Must be a fast-paced, hard worker
Must be willing to perform all BOH café duties, including washing dishes, cleaning, etc.

Hours: 8am-3pm daily
