REQUIREMENTS:
– YOU MUST be Jewish and keep Kosher yourself
– YOU MUST fully observe Shabbos
– YOU MUST keep fully kosher at home
– YOU MUST know how to cook according to strict kosher guidelines

NOTE: The interview process will include speaking to a Rabbi to verify the above requirements.

DESCRIPTION:
– We are looking for a part-time chef to cook weekly meal prep for a wealthy Jewish couple. We envision this role to cook and package a week’s worth of meals for couple that they can re-heat throughout the week.
– Meals may be prepared at the client’s home or your own home (upon kosher standards verification) and will need to be prepared while adhering to strict Kosher guidelines
– Cuisine must be modern and chef must have experience cooking at a level that is similar to fine dining restaurants around the city
– Must be skilled and able to prepare different menus every week for the client
– Food is to be cooked within reasonable cost and does not need to be extravagant. Just great tasting food, with weekly variety, and the use of healthy fresh ingredients, is key to the success of this role.
– Cleanliness is key

WORK EXPERIENCE:
– Optimal work experience includes having worked at fine dining restaurants, kosher restaurants, catering, or private chef experience for wealthy individuals. A degree from a reputable cooking institution is not required but is noteworthy in your response.

COMPENSATION:
– Compensation will be paid and additional expenses such as food and parking being fully reimbursed. This rate can be negotiated and will be based on previous experience.
