Job Description

Lead Hosts serve guests, oversee guest service, and supervise FOH team members. Lead Hosts provide on-the-floor support and ensure restaurant service needs are met, as well as assist with other tasks throughout the restaurant including ordering supplies, and assisting in opening/closing the restaurant each day. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong guest service and problem solving instincts, and a knack for motivating and coaching employees.

What you’ll do:
– Supervise team members and maintain a presence on the floor, stepping in to support the team as challenges arise, or when volume demands; you’re responsible for setting a positive, can-do tone for each shift.

– Seat and serve guests quickly, and consistently

– Assisting and resolving guest issues as they arise

– Coach and develop FOH team members, helping to identify and address areas of improvement, as well as cultivating high-potential team members.

– Support Operations Team with administrative and financial tasks as needed.

– Model exceptional guest service, maintain extensive product knowledge (including allergen information), and assist with any questions that may arise.

– Work efficiently and accurately while ensuring all guests served receive stellar service.

What we’re looking For:
– Prior customer service, retail, and/or food and beverage experience preferred.

– Passion for what you do –you love motivating and leading a team, and also thrive in fast-paced environments.

– Adaptability and flexibility– you recognize that in the food industry, anything can – and will– happen. You’re able to calmly troubleshoot issues.

– Eye for detail –you’re able to deftly switch between operational tasks and in-the-moment coaching, never sacrificing the quality of either.

– Collaborative spirit and commitment to Bondi’s core values –you’re a team player and willing to lend a hand or elevate those around you. You add your own individuality to an already positive and uplifting work environment.

Shifts Needed:
– Full-time, Open Availability; night and weekend availability required
