The Red Hook Lobster Pound, a family business known internationally for serving NYC’s best lobster rolls and Maine Style Seafood, has renovated its original lobster pound in Red Hook to be a full service restaurant and bar and is looking for an outstanding line cooks to join our team. We are an expanding, exciting company that takes deep pride in not only the food we serve but the people on our team.

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

– 1 to 3 Years experience in a similar position
– Culinary school attendance is a plus
– Dependable and hard-working.
– Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards (NYC Food Handler’s License a plus)
– Ability to rock out hundreds of covers per shift
– Thrive in a fast paced environment
– Passion for food, particularly seafood
– A fun, friendly attitude

Pay dependent on experience up to $17-$18 per hour to start. Future room for promotions within the company for qualified staff.
