Job Summary

CD Staffing is a locally owned and operated staffing firm based in Ft Lauderdale, Florida with locations throughout Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. We currently have an opening with a large, well known Resort with a property on Singer Island. This is a temporary to full time position.

RESPONSABILIDADES:

· Responsable por limpiar las areas designadas del cuarto, cambiar tendidos y limpiar de acuerdo a los requisitos del huesped.

· Mantener organizadas las areas de ventas, remover las basuras, limpiar gabinetes, encerar los pisos, y guardar los items en los lugares asignados.

· Responder a los requerimientos de materiales de los huespedes (ej: toallas, cobijas, tendidos, etc,) de manera eficiente.

· Limpiar otras areas designadas tales como banos publicos, bodegas y areas publicas.

· Reportar a los supervisores cuando se necesite una reparacion o este en condiciones inseguras.

· Debe regularmente asistir con proyectos de limpieza profundal.

· Debe asistir con otras tareas que se le asignen.

CUALIFICACIONES:

Se requiere lectura, escritura y habilidad numerica. Experiencia previa en limpieza de hoterles de preferencia. De preferencia bilingue. Debe trabajar noches, fines de semana y feriados.
9am-6pm y 12pm-9pm

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for cleaning designated rooms within allotted times. Change bed linens, clean rooms according to client requirements.
Remove all dirty linen from rooms and replace with new, clean linens.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor, remove non-floor closet items and store in appropriate areas.
Respond to guests requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, cots, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas for assigned floors.
Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
May collect newspaper and other items for recycling.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Housekeeping experience preferred.
Bilingual applicants preferred.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business; is punctual and self-motivated; has the ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts
Shifts available: 9am-6pm ; 12p-8p ; 1p-9p
