Brent’s Comfort Kitchen is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking line or prep cook to join our team. We are a ghost kitchen (takeout & delivery only) in Midtown East (Turtle Bay). We serve deli and diner classics for lunch and dinner, and have a variety of shifts available, morning thru evening. We can offer part time or full-time hours, with wages dependent on experience.
You will work as part of a small team, so you must be organized, versatile and ready to jump in and help with all tasks with a smile. This means receiving orders, managing tickets, cleaning your station, and of course: cooking!
Key responsibilities:
• Cook from-scratch dishes according to recipes and visual standards
• Follow all standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment
• Receive deliveries (food and supplies)
• Package/expedite orders accurately
Requirements:
• 1-2+ years line or prep cook experience
• Strong work ethic
• Positive attitude
• Reliability and accountability
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) + Tips
