Looking for a well experienced Prep/Line Cook to maintain a well established upscale Jamaican restaurant in Jamaica NY.
The day-to-day responsibilities of a line cook include:

Preparing food before meal service begins, including chopping vegetables, breaking down meat into serving sizes, making sauces and dividing herbs
Setting up and stocking kitchen stations
Cooking assigned foods during restaurant service, complying with senior chefs’ instructions and recommendations
Plating cooked foods
Keeping food stations clean and organized
Complying with mandatory food safety standards and regulations
