Urgently hiring maintenance tech to join our team. Must be experienced and eager to learn.

The Maintenance position will assistance our building engineer and porter to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of our housing facilities. This position ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

We are actively seeking a maintenance technician, part time with the option to work full time.

Responsibilities for the hourly position:
-Retrieve and complete maintenance requests
-Assist our Building Engineer with larger projects
-Assist with building cleaning and trash removal
-Assist with tasks around the buildings, such as repairing plaster and drywall, painting building structures, etc.
-Be responsible for providing an aesthetically pleasing environment to include the cleaning of vacated spaces, hallways and the exterior of the property as needed. Keep the premises neat and clean, the grounds free of debris and landscaped area free of weeds
-Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required

Job Requirements
-Physically able to do the job
-Able to work Sundays as scheduled
-Good verbal communication skills
-Able to work in a group

You MUST have:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three years of experience in general apartment and building maintenance and repair
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and travel to other facilities as needed

MUST have a can do attitude. You are being hired to complete a job that may require you get your hands dirty.
