Renowned, multi-concept, James Beard Award winning STARR Restaurants has begun the arduous process of rebuilding our company in the global pandemic driven “new normal” of consumer dining. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recently reopened our dining rooms in accordance with the CDC and city regulations. The welfare of our community has always been, and continues to be, our highest priority, and we have taken the time to implement new operational standards to keep our guests and team members safe and healthy.

Makoto Okuwa is now seeking Pantry Cooks & and Robata/Wok Cooks to join the team!

Qualified Pantry Cooks will have:
Experience in a high-volume setting or graduated an accredited culinary school
a passion for high-quality ingredients and exceptional service
Eager to learn from skilled chefs and work with a multitude of different dishes on the menu
Experience in a Japanese restaurant is a plus

Qualified Robata/Wok Cooks will have:
2+ years of Robata, Charcoal, or Wood Fire cooking experience
Works well under pressure and with multiple menu items in a high volume restaurant
2+Experience working a Wok and Tempura station
Experience in a Japanese restaurant highly desired
