About the Manager position:

As a Manager it is your responsibility for the overall success of the daily operations. This means adhering to culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and company’s standards and expectations of food quality, freshness, presentation, to an exceptional guest experience.

The Manager responds to Ownership, and Senior Management and is responsible for all functions on an opening, mid or closing shift including guest relations, supervision of all staff and staffing levels, proper restaurant ambiance, housekeeping and set-up, cash handling, food & beverage quality, safety, and pace.

The Manager ensures that the shift is run in a smooth manner and attends to any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise. Each Manager is assigned a department (i.e., Host, Server, Bussers, etc.) and a profit/cost center such as Smallwares or Repair & Maintenance for which he or she will be responsible for the staffing, timesheet approvals, scheduling, financial goals and staff development of his or her assigned department.

Your role as a Manager is to continually invest in and develop our staff, to help them execute flawless service, and create memorable experiences.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Previous experience in full-service high volume restaurant management with a stable tenure
Strong leadership qualities
2+ years in management in an upscale/fine dining setting
Food safety understanding and practice
Food Handlers License a MUST!
Daily administrative and operational tasks
Including sanitation and safety
Timesheet approval and reporting
Payroll assignments
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Development of staff, experience with hiring and training
Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
You love what you do and it shows!
Excellent written and communication skills
The desire to succeed and grow with a company
Work effectively
Strong communication skills
Professional appearance
Must be able to work various late hours, including closing hours and weekends
Task completion
Other duties as assigned
