Barney’s Motorcycle & Marine in St. Petersburg, Florida, a large multi-brand dealership of 75 years is looking for energetic and knowledgeable service writer.

Service writer applicants must have a professional attitude and a willingness to follow through with all phases of a customers repair project.
Basic mechanical Knowledge of motorcycles, atv’s, utv’s, Spyders, PWC’s and Jet Boats is a plus as well as knowledge of the use of Lightspeed.

Greet customers and write repair orders with detailed descriptions of customer’s needs and/or repairs.
Manage work flow of repair and required parts orders.
Maintain contact with customers to keep them updated on project progress.
Stay informed about all service bulletins and recall notices and disseminate information as required.
Submit warranty claims and track progress as required until completion.
Organize any and all documentation related to the service department
Manage and complete any service related projects related to the sales department.
Manage the organization and cleanliness of the service department and warehouse.
Do your best to make sure every customer is greeted quickly, treated professionally and is satisfied with all work done. About Barney’s St Pete:
