Pubbelly Sushi, an Award winning Asian-inspired gastropub is looking for experienced staff to join our team at our Dadeland location.

Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays; Part time positions available.

Must be able to work in a team-oriented and fast pace environment.

POSITION SUMMARY: To guarantee the quality and proper standards as well as maintaining culinary production and quality levels as set by Pubbelly Sushi. Directly responsible for maintaining the food production in order to meet the business requirements with effectiveness and efficiency while ensuring the highest standards of service and food safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are intended as basic requirements. Success will come to the individual that is able to expand upon these job requirements. These requirements may change over the course of employment.

· Exceptional Knife skills (including but not limited to Filleting Fish, Cutting Produce)

· Extensive knowledge of Japanese and Asian products

· Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner. Will provide high-quality, attractive meals to guests.

· Have thorough knowledge of menus, standard recipes, and preparation methods

· Prepare all orders on a timely basis

· Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction.

· Adhere to all applicable Pubbelly Hospitality Group Standard Operating Procedures

· Sashimi and Nigiri sushi acknowledge

Minimum Qualifications

· 5 years experience in a Sushi Bar

· Must be available to work on Holidays, weekdays and weekends.

· Must have Reliable Transportation

Other:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meeting is required.
