This Hospitality Operations Intern role is for the dynamic management group that brought you the Concepts COYO TACO, 1-800- LUCKY, The Moxy South Beach F&B, and The Oasis Wynwood. This is a paid internship program for students seeking an understanding of the operational, marketing, and business aspects of the hospitality industry. This internship will build on itself starting off with administrative functions, and moving into restaurant management, marketing, new venue openings, executive support, hospitality operations from casual to fine-dining venues, Human Resources functions, and basic accounting principles. Essential Functions

Participate in weekly management, and executive meetings; taking meeting notes, setting calendar invites, and following up on actionable items..
Gain skills in various restaurant operations from daily operations to general management from an administrative and managerial perspective
Work closely with the catering director and events managers to schedule, coordinate, and run events and caterings
Work with the marketing team to liaise with influencers and PR agencies .
Miscellaneous duties include: meeting setting, appointments, basic errands, travel planning,
Assist in the operational opening of the Moxy Hotel F&B outlets
Assist in the operation opening of the Oasis Wynwood
Help with inventory and ops management by creating reports and spreadsheets
Assist in creation and implementation of operating improvements, cost savings, and new profit opportunities in partnership with leaders
Assist in basic invoicing items, and assist in basic accounting data entry
Learn some basic HR principles to assist in recruiting, and engagement
Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements

College education in progress or completed
Great attitude
Must have a proactive spirit
Ability to take initiative and learn on the job
Able to multitask
Reliable and punctual; timeliness is very important
Able to critically analyze situation and ask for help
Experience with Microsoft Office, Docusign, Gmail, ZOOM and Outlook software preferred
Able to seek out new methods and willing to incorporate them into existing practices when applicable
Must possess a passion for Hospitality and F&B Functions
