Job Description: High volume upscale Catering Hall and Restaurant group in Howard Beach is seeking a talented Sous Chef for its flagship catering establishment specializing in Italian cuisine. Great Opportunity for a motivated individual to join an always evolving restaurant group and work with accomplished culinary professionals.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
• The Sous Chef will hold managerial and culinary responsibilities in all areas of the catering operations.
• Will work with Executive Chef on controlling budgets, menu planning and implementation, scheduling and training of staff in all departments.
• Individual must possess leadership qualities, team-building capabilities and organizational skills.
• Culinary degree preferred, NYC food handler’s certification and computer skills a necessity.
• Food decoration/ carving experience
• Salary commensurate on experience.

Ability to work Weekends and Holidays is a PLUS!
