We are a 5yr successful State Farm Agent seeking a Sales representative. We request a minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales. A 4-40 license is required or able to obtain and a 2-15 license will be required within the first 2 months of employment. You will be required to pass a background check before being hired. This is a drug and smoke-free environment (no smoke brakes allowed).
•Minimum 1 year of insurance sales experience
•Required to sell auto, life, health and homeowners insurance – a minimum of 20 policies per month
•Meet monthly sales goals – a minimum of 50 calls per day
•Book a minimum of 2 daily appointments
•Develop your own leads – visit businesses and cold calls
•Perform service duties such as obtain signed forms, and follow up on documents to close the sale (10% service/90% sales)
•Ability to Multi-task on a fast pace environment and be a problem solve person.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $10.00 to $15.00 depending on experience PLUS bonus and commission
