Our client, a leading provider of Facilities Services to major institutions and corporations, seeks to hire a Temp to Perm Call Center Representative to work at a client site in Jamaica, Queens. The Call Center Representative will be directly responsible for assisting the Call Center Manager and the Call Center team as whole. The call center fields call from various stakeholders within the institution, as well as Management, field trades and janitorial staff and various vendors. This position is slated to being on August 10, 2020. The main responsibilities entail providing exceptional customer service experience both in-person and over the telephone, handling calls regarding work service requests, creating service request work orders, providing helpful feedback and positive communication to motivate other call center reps, assisting Call Center Manager in creating service requests for the Purchasing and Procurement Departments, communicating with all departments via email and phone, scheduling work orders through the Work Order System and ensuring work is distributed to the field staff in a timely manager, following-up with management on work that has not been completed in a timely or satisfactory manner, reviewing on a daily basis that all scheduled work has been completed or marked as not completed with the proper resolutions, working with and addressing concerns of unhappy residents and knowing when to escalate the call to the Call Center Manager. Qualifications: High School Diploma, Associates degree in Business, Management, Public Relations or a computer related field, knowledge and ability to utilize online facilities maintenance management systems, must be highly organized with great attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy, strong proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook software, strong relationship building skills, experience in an union environment highly desired along with experience following union protocol, thrives in a fast paced environment and can seamlessly handle multiple projects at once, strong oral and written communication skills, and the desire to be successful and solution driver. Hours are Monday – Friday 10:00am – 7:00pm with an unpaid lunch break. Pay is $20hr.
