Description

We are looking for an experienced R&R technician who can work on all makes and all models, rear wheel drive, front wheel drive, and all-wheel drive vehicles. As an R&R technician your primary role is to be able to remove and reinstall transmission and transfer cases, replace clutches assembly’s, resurface flywheels, and be able to remove, install, and disassemble front and rear differentials. You may also be asked to diagnosis vehicles on arrival or final road test vehicles on completion. That being said a valid driver license is required to work here.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose transmission problems
• Remove transmissions accurately
• Reinstall transmissions accurately
• Experience on automatic and manual transmissions for domestic and import vehicles (both early and late model)
• Maintain all shop equipment
Skills and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• General Automotive Technician experience
• Minimum of 3 year’s Transmission R&R experience preferred
• Have a quality set of tools
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent follow-up & organizational skills
• Punctuality
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, Sunday
Experience:
• removing and reinstalling transmissions: 3 year (Required)
• General Automotive Technician: 2 years (Preferred)
Education:
• High school or equivalent (Required)
