We make all kinds of yummy confections at Behr’s Chocolates, including a variety of gourmet caramel apples, gourmet s’mores, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and many more unique items that you won’t find anywhere else! Some of our products have even been featured on the Today Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. We love knowing that our products put smiles on kids’ faces when they visit Orlando’s major attractions.

Our Work Environment:
We make fun and delicious treats so we would like our work environment to be a reflection of our products! Happy and hardworking individuals are valued at Behr’s Chocolates. We are seeking a punctual and efficient Team Member who will mainly be responsible for the procurement of ingredients for large scale recipes and assisting with the warehouse receiving. We are looking for a highly motivated, self starter who has great attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

You will be on your feet for the majority of the day. There will be a lot of walking, standing, moving pallets with a manual pallet jack as well as some lifting and carrying of ingredients. Heavy lifting is required as some ingredients weigh up to 55 pounds. You could be exposed to different temperatures throughout the day due to differently climatized warehouses.

Our shift hours are traditionally 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

A General Idea of Daily Duties:
· Read large scale recipe cards, pull the appropriate ingredients from the warehouse then properly weigh and measure each ingredient to the specified amount.
· Bring pallets of ingredients out to our Production Teams.
· Receive product deliveries which includes verifying / quality check items and recording lot numbers.
· Maintain cleanliness of area and organization of ingredients; monitor ingredient inventory levels.

Job Requirements:
· Must have reliable transportation. Attendance and punctuality is important!
· Must be able to use and read scales, accuracy is necessary.
· Must have basic math skills.
· Time management skills are crucial; must be able to work independently to meet deadlines.
· Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Must have a positive and friendly attitude toward their work and others.
· Experience in manufacturing or past work experience in production is a plus, but not required.
· Must be very clean and maintain organization to ensure we are meeting our food safety guidelines.
· Must be able to adhere to our traceability and sanitation program.
· A willingness to learn other production processes in our facility and jump in when needed. The main goal should be to keep our clients happy!

Wages:
$10.50 to $12.00 per hour. Raises are given bases upon performance.

COVID-19 Requirements:
We do follow the CDC guidelines. A face covering is required in production, and your temperature will be taken before entering production.
