Do you love cars? Looking for a great place to work? We are a very fast paced growing wholesale automobile dealer in southwest Houston. Looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow as we grow.

Who would I interact with?

This position interacts daily with management, body shop and other vendors.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
•Receive vehicles as they come in and check for any damage
•Inspect vehicles for any mechanical issues and cosmetic issues
•Manage work being sent to the body shop (shipping, receiving and inspection at receiving)
•Quality control/final check of vehicles that have been made ready
•Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to service facility.
•Assist with parts procurement and deliveries as needed
•Input/update vehicles in the Vehicle Inventory Management system

What are the job requirements?
•High School/Tech School Diploma or some college
•3+ years’ experience in an automotive repair environment/business
•1+ years’ experience managing a team or staff
•Clean driving record
•Must be able to pass back ground check, drug test and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
•Be able to lift 50 lb unassisted

Preferences:
•For you to be an exceptional listener and communicator
•Previous experience as a service writer or collision repair estimator
•Previous car dealership experience
•Previous bodyshop experience
•Previous Automotive Condition Report (Inspection) writing experience (Auction or other inspection company)
•NAAA (auction) post sale inspection experience
•An old school work ethic – this isn’t a 9-5 kind of job
•Willing to learn and open to new ideas
•Very detail oriented
•A self-starter
•Problem solving skills
•Loves a challenge

What does the job pay?

Starting salary is dependent on your experience; our base starting hourly wages for this job is $13/hr. to $17/hr with a review in 90 days. If you have the right experience salary will be higher (depends on experience).

We do reviews often and adjust salaries based on job performance
