Good Thanks Cafe is looking for a part time top quality Barista to join the team.

We have a spot recently opened up for 4 shifts per week. \\ Shifts go from 8am – 4/5pm

Good Thanks is a Lower East Side Cafe that is becoming a staple of the community in coffee and breakfast/brunch scene. We are very busy especially on weekends, and require a very capable barista to be preparing a full days service of espresso and other drinks. We therefore require a strong level of experience in a similar role and some other bar knowledge would be preferred but not essential.

Required skills:
– dialing in Linea PB espresso machine
– Preparing drip coffee (using EK43 grinder and Fetco brewer)
– Opening and/or closing the bar and barista station
– Strong level of milk steaming and pouring
– Taking orders at the counter for To Go drinks

Our Ethos is a team focus one, and we expect our baristas to assist floor staff where/when possible and floor staff do the same where/when possible.

We offer $10/hr and tips usually bring this to about $35/hr. Shifts are 7-10 hours long.
