CITY CELLAR is looking for BUSSERS, RUNNERS & HOST to join our fast-paced, high volume location!

We are currently searching for candidates with 3-5 years of previous full-service restaurant experience to join our team in a full time position!

The Busser/Runner is positioned as a member of the FOH secondary team. As a supportive member of FOH operations, the Busser/Runner’s activities are designed to enable the primary team of waiters and bartenders to complete their job. Preparing all equipment for use and making every service item instantly available, the Busser/Runner is in charge of enhancing and executing a support system that guarantees a Waiter or Bartender’s success. Being a collaborative member of the service team, the Busser/Runner is knowledgeable on all aspects of floor service and considered to be a “Waiter in the making”. From restocking service items to assisting the Waiter with serving orders, the Busser/Runner is prepared to ensure table service runs smoothly. The incumbent teams up with the wait staff and reports directly to the on-site Floor Manager. The position requires a fast- paced, organized self-driven leader who possesses the ability to perform calmly in a fast paced dynamic restaurant environment.

The HOST is positioned as the leading representative of the Restaurant. As the key introductory to the R brand, the HOST is positioned to oversee and coordinate all the activities of the dining area. The most informed and detailed member of the FOH staff, the Host is in charge of enthusiastically greeting and seating guests with accuracy. Being a source of information to customers, the Host is knowledgeable of all aspects of service. From responding to phone or reservation inquiries to being readily available to discuss menu or allergy restrictions, the Host is prepared to make a customer’s visit most enjoyable. The incumbent reports directly to the on-site Floor Manager. The HOST is a multi-tasker who strategically seats customers while remaining in sync with the needs of their fellow wait staff. The position requires an upbeat, organized self-driven leader who possesses the ability to perform calmly in a fast paced dynamic restaurant environment.
