Description

Plate is a family owned restaurant that opened in 2008. We are located in the heart of Miami, Coral Way. Using local flavors in our signature cuisine. We serve fresh, home-cooked and offer daily specials based on the availability of local foods. We are open from Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM.

We are looking for a new team member to run our small kitchen to continue delivering our famous breakfast, fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, juices, and bowls to our clients.

HOURS:

8:00AM-4:00PM

REQUIRED:

ServSafe/Safestaf Certification

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

– Coordinate meal prep and cooking food to diners in a timely fashion.

– Prep food: (for Breakfast and lunch, bake our famous bread pudding )

– Monitor the quality of all food and beverages.

– Work efficiently to solve any problems that might arise in the kitchen.

– Track and maintain inventory stock in order to notify management of products that need to be purchased and upcoming expiration dates.

– Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.

SKILLS:

– Minimum 2 years’ experience as a high volume line cook

– Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

– Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards

– Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team.

– Ability to multi-task and coordinate activities in pressing situations.

– Maintain a solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.

– Ability to read recipes and create soups, sauces and dressing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Culinary Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
