Taylor St All Day Cafe is located on 40th and Madison is a local favorite known for its laid back Australian style, serving quality coffee and food service.

You’ll be working with gravimetric Nuova Simonelli Black Eagles and Mythos grinders.

The cafe is broken up into kitchen, front of house and barista, all working in unison to provide exceptional service to the business workers in the area but also tourists who are visiting the city.

Taylor St is currently looking for an experienced barista to help us as we reopen to the midtown crowd. You will be responsible for coffee quality, building customer relationships and the relaunch of a very popular store.

The cafe is M-F only… so weekends are off!

As we look to rebuild the store, there will be a some solo work…. But hopefully we will be back to our previous highs and usual selves soon… we were a very busy store… but midtown is being a bit slow in coming back to life.

Responsibilities include:

Quality control including cupping, dialing in, latte art and supporting your baristas
Placing coffee and other orders for barista area
Assisting other cafe sections with service
Monitoring ticket times and flow of service
Machine maintenance and technical support knowledge a bonus
Creating a friendly and enjoyable environment for both customers and coworkers

Skills required for the right candidate:
– Min two years of barista experience
– Must be able to multitask
– Must have confident communication skills
– Must have latte art skills and be able to dial in espresso and filter
– Must be able to stand on their feet for 8-10 hours of the day
