Description

We are a top rated hotel group in Miami Beach and are currently seeking Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team! Housekeeping Room Attendants ensure that all guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas are cleaned to the company standards in both quality and quantity. Paid training provided.

Essential Duties:

Provide maid service for guest rooms and meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Replace any unused amenities and report any maintenance concerns.
Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests.
Provide maid service by doing a thought out cleaning, vacuum, undusted, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies and filling ice bucket as preferred by guest.
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents.
Assist PM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves in team effort.
Empty trash.
Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart.
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion
Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed.
Attend all mandatory meetings
Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to Safety/Security Department
Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and employee safety in the event of an emergency
Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
Keep work area neat and organized and ensure all her cleaning supplies are labeled correctly.
Making up of roll-a-ways, couches and cribs
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs
Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills.
Strong initiative and self-motivation.
Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal.
An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace.
Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment.
Minimum one year experience within housekeeping dept.
Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
