Multi-James Beard and Michelin star award-winning restaurant group STARR RESTAURANTS (Pastis, La Mercerie, Buddakan, Upland, and many more) is currently operating our beloved NYC restaurants in the global pandemic driven “new normal” of consumer dining. As a result of the COVID-19, we recently reopened our dining rooms in accordance with the CDC and city regulations. The welfare of our community has always been, and continues to be, our highest priority, and we have taken the time to implement new operational standards to keep our guests and team members safe and healthy.

The next phase of our reopening process is to hire and train new staff on our best practices/standards. We are actively seeking driven, outgoing Line Cooks for our RESTAURANTS. Joining our team means being an important part of an amazing restaurant reopening, in an environment that allows you to develop both personally and professionally!

Home

Qualified Line Cooks will have:
Minimum of 1-2 years of culinary experience in NYT 2 to 4-star rated restaurant
Culinary school/university education is preferred
Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve
Ability to manage a station from prep to service
Ability to work cleanly and efficiently with attention to detail
Punctuality is key!
A strong sense of urgency and strong communication skills
Team work ethics
Full time is a must; along with weekend availability.
