Job Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers as they enter the store and lounge, making them feeling welcome and unintimidated.
Display a demonstrated product knowledge and educate customers to enhance experience of our store.
Actively listen to customers to gain a complete understanding of what they like or prefer to make tailored product recommendations.
Manage the humidor and lounge when opportunity presents itself to ensure merchandise and store is well-stocked, orderly and clean.
Process, Receive, and Stock inventory shipments ensuring accuracy.
Provide exemplary customer service throughout the shift demonstrating our company’s culture.
Process business transactions which include handling cash, processing debit/credit cards and performing returns or exchanges as required.
Perform janitorial duties during and after shift, which consists of sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing various areas, including bathrooms.

Job Skills & Requirements

Required Qualifications

At least 21 years of age
Able to perform basic math, writing, and reading tasks without supervision
Able to comfortably stand for extended periods of time
Comfortable in a cigar and pipe smoking environment serving alcohol
Must hold strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy in Point of Sales Systems
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up
Ability to create an irresistible experience for customers

Preferred Qualifications

Retail Sales and Customer Service Experience
Premium Cigar or Pipe Enthusiast
Ability to Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Cigar Marketing knowledge and trends within the industry
Experience working independently and as part of a team
