NEW RESTAURANT ALERT!

Jack & Charlies no.118, is a 85 seat Upscale New American Restaurant located in the West Village in Manhattan. We just opened in early October, and we are still looking for passionate & talented Line Cooks experienced with upscale dining with volume. We are offering competitive pay in return of being part of something special with the opening of our new restaurant. Responsibilities:

Set up and stock stations
Prep stations daily
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared to our specifications
Report directly to Executive Chef & Sous Chef
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

Proven cooking experience in an upscale restaurant
Proof of Vaccination
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Weekend availability a must
