Warehouse Associate

Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for a local leading organization in Melville, NY. Warehouse Associates will work in the Distribution Center, assembling parts, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, etc providing world class service in a manufacturing/production environment.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
Data entry – working on returns, credits and refurbishing frames
Entering information in database
Stocking and arranges products
Fills customers’ orders according to specifications
Maintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Other duties may be assigned.

Warehouse Associates candidates must meet the following requirements:
At least 6 months to 1-year warehousing experience as general laborer, warehouse associate or material handler.
Ability to stand, twist, push, pull, squat and lift to 30 pounds for entire shift
Unpacking Shipments
Verifying Inventory received, cycle counts and quality control checks
Stocking shelves
Must be able to work in a fast paced / deadline driven environment and work over-time as needed.
Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements

Pay for this position is $15.00/hr plus overtime as needed.
