POSITION. full time, m-f 8-5:30 sat 8-1

Maintaining 10,000sqft/15 lift European auto repair shop located in Freeport NY, organizing and keeping the place clean, functional and organized. Picking up and dropping off parts, customers or cars.
On occasion picking items up within a 200 mile radius. Packaging and shipping items as well. Errands, light mechanical.

NEEDS
Valid drivers license, being competent, honest. Having common sense and thick skin. listening to and following directions are also a must.

As the owner, my position is overseer of operations. Its my job to point out mistakes, problems and issues in order to keep the place running properly. And to keep you busy.
If the right person fills the position you will barely notice I’m a boss. I know everybody thinks they are the right person.

I have built this shop the ground up and in the business for over 30 yrs. I have seen and heard it all before.
It gets very busy and I need somebody who is competent, on their toes and constantly stays busy. There is always something to do.
As of now its an entry level position. The ultimate goal would be to find somebody who can grow into managing this place.
But I seriously doubt if there is anybody out there capable. I notice everything here. You will not be hiding in a corner on your cell phone. Or disappearing on the road. I need somebody doesn’t just focus on one thing at a time but someone who can juggle10. I need someone who is in constant motion and finishes sentences of others who there working with. Cant have someone who causes a distraction by talking too much either.
