Position: Front Desk Agent Reports to: Front Office Manager

Department: Hotel FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

Process reservations and telephone calls; assist guests; sell rooms according to guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Operate within guidelines according to Leading Hotels of the World Standards
2. Answer in-coming telephone calls by the third ring.
3. Process reservations: obtain pertinent information and reconfirm information with caller.
4. Run daily reports; perform daily credit analysis of accounts.
5. Process guest check-in and check-out.
6. Perform job assignments as requested by supervisor.
7. Comply with all Fisher Island Club Standards (i.e., grooming, conduct, policies and procedures etc).

Education/Skills/Work Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior front desk/reservationist experience preferred in luxury properties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Flexible availability required including nights, holiday and weekends.
