Description

Monte’s is looking to expand our workforce. We are looking to add an experienced Pizzaiolo/a to our team.

In search for a Wood fired Neapolitan Style Pizza Maker for a full service restaurant.
Must have at least 3 years experience with references.

Part time position available with ability to move to full time once restaurant opens fully.

Responsibilities include:

-prep pizza station with toppings, sauce, pizza dough etc.
-light the wood fired oven
-ensure station is clean and tidy at all times
– communicate with the chef and salad station to ensure proper timing and firing of food orders
-reading tickets
-end of night kitchen cleaning including but not limited to: removing all toppings from station, cleaning of pizza counter, cleaning all tools used in pizza station, disinfecting station, cleaning of pizza oven, sweeping and mopping station, ensuring all refrigerators in station are clean at all times

Requirements

-Must have at least 3 year experience working with a wood fired oven and making Neopolitan style pizza.
-Must know how to light a wood fired oven, make pizza dough for Neapolitan style pizza, stretch dough etc.
-Must be a team player
-Must have valid working papers
